Travel to the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica and visit the amazing Sloth Sanctuary on this tour, one of the main attractions of our country. Enjoy of beautiful views during the ride to the Sanctuary, where you will have the chance to go on the road that crosses the Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most beautiful jungles of Costa Rica. On this drive you will also have the chance to see the active Turrialba Volcano doing small steam eruptions on clear days; as well as the Irazu, Barva and Poas Volcanoes from the distance...
Once at the Sanctuary you will learn everything about the cute sloths, like their habits, the different species we have in Costa Rica and everything you want to know about them. After the sloth experience, visit the typical town of Cahuita for you to taste a delicious Caribbean Style lunch, which is very different than the food served in the rest of Costa Rica.
After lunch you will hike on the trails of Cahuita National Park with your guide, where you will be able to admire our lush rainforest, our beautiful Caribbean Beaches and the wildlife that is normally observed on the trails of this park. Here at Cahuita you will have some time to enjoy of the beach for a while before heading back to San Jose.
The final stop of this Sloth Sanctuary Experience and Caribbean Beaches Tour will be at “Playa Negra”, on the way back to San Jose, where you will be able to take pictures of this Beautiful Caribbean Beach.
