Learn the entire process of producing Coffee in Costa Rica and discover the most important landmarks of the City of San Jose. The tour starts by picking you up from your San Jose area hotel and then you will head to the foothills of Poas Volcano, where you will visit a private coffee farm. This particular farm is not a touristic setup to do a coffee tour (like most of these in San Jose); this one is an actual working plantation, where you might have the opportunity to observe the workers at work...
In this plantation you will learn how coffee is planted, the way is harvested and the way is processed at the processing plant. At the end of the tour you will be able to taste some of the coffee that is produced here, a great cup of authentic Costa Rican Coffee, one of the best in the world.
After your coffee experience you will proceed to visit the City of San Jose, where you will be able to walk in its Central Avenue. On this walk you will visit the National Theater, The Culture Plaza and the iconic Central Market, the most folkloric attraction of San Jose. On this tour you will also have the chance to visit other main attractions of the city by vehicle, like the National Stadium, The National Cathedral, The Sabana Central Park, among others.
At the end of this Coffee tour and San Jose City tour we will proceed to take you back to your San Jose area hotel.
