On the first stop, fly over the forest canopy on a zip lining tour that includes 10 adventure cables and beautiful views of the Carara National Park and the Tarcoles River. At the end of this adventure you will visit the crocodile bridge, where you will have the chance to observe many crocodiles in the wild; we normally see 20-60 of these impressive animals, some of them as big as 6 meters! (18 feet).

Continuing with the trip you will explore Tarcoles Beach, a place where you will have the chance to see scarlet macaws in the wild. The population of scarlet macaws in this area is very big; they come to feed to the coast from the nearby Carara National Park. Further ahead you will visit the Jaco Beach look-out point, for you to explore a little bit of the most developed coastal town of Costa Rica. Afterwards you will continue to Manuel Antonio, where you will savor a delicious Costa Rican lunch with great views of the ocean and the National Park.

After lunch, hike on the trails of the famous Manuel Antonio National Park with your guide, where you will have the chance to admire the lush rainforest of Costa Rica, the abundant wildlife and the most beautiful beaches of the country. We prefer to visit this natural sanctuary in the afternoon to avoid the huge tourists’ crowds who come in the mornings to hike in the preserve; entering the park in the afternoon is always less crowded.

After hiking on the main trails of the park, you will have free time on your own to enjoy the beach, swim in the ocean or hike other trails on your own. On your way back to San Jose a stop will be made at the largest fruit stand of the country, where you will learn about the huge variety of tropical fruits of Costa Rica.
