Once in Arenal you will visit La Fortuna Waterfall, the most famous waterfall of Costa Rica. Here you will hike on the rainforest trails with your guide and will be able to admire the beautiful tropical flora of this area. The trails will take you all the way to the waterfall, where you will have the chance to swim in its refreshing waters if you wish. After this adventure at La Fortuna Waterfall you will savor a delicious Costa Rican lunch at the base of the impressive Arenal Volcano.

After lunch, explore the most popular attraction of the area, the Arenal Hanging Bridges at Mistico Park. Here you will hike on the trails with your guide, where you will be able to admire the beautiful canopy of the rainforest from the hanging bridges, as well as from the ground on the numerous trails. On this 2.5 hour hike, you will have the chance to admire the flora and fauna of our lush rainforests.

At the end of this fun day, relax at the thermal-mineral waters of Paradise Hot Springs and Gardens, where you will have a couple of hours in the thermal pools to recover from the different hikes. Afterwards you will have dinner and then you will be taken back to your San Jose area hotel.

*Please consider that the walk to the waterfall is not very long, 15-20 minutes approx. but you would have to go down 400 steps approx. that you would have to walk up on your way out.
