On route to Arenal you will pass many local towns where you will be able to see the everyday living of our people; lush tropical jungles of Rainforest and Cloud Forest; as well as mountainous areas with many local plantations. A stop will be made at the town of Sarchi for you to visit the folkloric typical oxcarts’ factory, which is the national symbol of work of Costa Rica. At this factory you will learn how oxcarts are made in our country and you will have a chance to do souvenir shopping at their huge souvenir shop. Before leaving Sarchi you would also stop at the town’s main square to admire the biggest oxcart in the world, which is holding the World’s Guinness Record.

Once in Arenal you will have lunch in the Town of La Fortuna; visit the National Park area at the closest volcano look-out point; and then will go to relax at Baldi Hot Springs, where you will spend the whole afternoon in the thermal-mineral pools. Baldi Hot Springs is the Largest Hot Springs Park in the world; it has several pools, bars, restaurants, fun waterslides and great views of Arenal Volcano.
